P74 differential pressure controller

The P74JA differential pressure controller combines two pressure components with high sensitivity. Once the two elements change, the switch mechanism is activated to control equipment such as motor driven valve. The switch mechanism provides SPDT non fast acting (floating) action, so the common movable contact contacts contact one of the two fixed contacts, or stay between them (no contact).

Application
P74JA differential pressure controller is usually used in water system to control the pressure difference between supply pipe and return pipe. After the SPDT floating action of the controller is connected to the contact, the motor driver operates the valve. A typical application is to install the valve in the bypass line of the system's water pump accessories. When the system pressure difference increases and exceeds the set value of the controller, the valve will open wider, and more water will flow through the bypass valve, thus reducing the system pressure difference. The decrease of differential pressure leads to the decrease of valve and the increase of system differential pressure.
P74J trace is suitable for other gas or liquid differential pressure applications.
All p74 series controllers are designed to operate as controls.
If the operation is out of control, which may lead to personal injury or property loss, the erector has the responsibility to increase the facilities (safety, limit control), protect them, or add systems (alarm, monitoring system) to give an alarm when they are out of control.
